These Terms govern your use of the Grand Poker Arena website (grandpokerarena.com) and any membership or gaming services offered at our premises in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. By using the site or visiting the club, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
1. About GPA
Grand Poker Arena (“GPA”) is a members-only recreational gaming club operated lawfully in Karnataka, India. Our games — including No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha — are conducted as games of skill, recognised as such by Indian courts including the Karnataka High Court.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to register, visit the premises, or use any of our services.
- You must provide valid government-issued identification (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence) and complete KYC verification before participating in any cash game or tournament.
- Membership is granted at the sole discretion of GPA management and may be refused or revoked without notice.
3. Website Use
You may browse the GPA website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws or these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, related systems, or any user account.
- Scrape, mirror, or republish site content without our written permission.
- Introduce malware or interfere with the site’s normal operation.
4. Account & Communications
Information you submit via the contact form, WhatsApp, or membership application is handled per our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping the details you provide accurate and up to date.
5. Membership, Buy-ins & Settlement
- All buy-ins must be made with your own funds. Credit, deferred payment, or third-party funding is not permitted.
- Cash transactions are limited to ₹2,00,000 per person per financial year in accordance with PMLA rules; amounts above this must be settled via bank transfer.
- Winnings are subject to TDS at 30% on net winnings as required under Section 194B of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- Settlement of net winnings is made by bank transfer to your KYC-verified account.
- PAN Card is mandatory for all transactions.
6. Gameplay & House Rules
All players must follow GPA’s House Rules at all times. These cover acting in turn, chip handling, table conduct, phone use, and dispute procedure. The Floor Manager’s decision is final in any dispute relating to a hand, conduct, or interpretation of the rules.
7. Conduct & Right of Refusal
GPA is a respectful, alcohol-free, smoke-free (indoors) environment. Abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour toward players, dealers, or staff will result in immediate expulsion and revocation of membership. We reserve the right to refuse entry, refuse service, or cancel a session at our sole discretion.
8. Tournaments
- Buy-ins, structures, and guaranteed prize pools (GTDs) are published per event and may be updated.
- Registration, late-registration, and re-entry policies are announced before each tournament.
- GPA underwrites posted GTDs as overlay where entries fall short.
- GPA may at its discretion cancel, postpone, or modify a tournament for operational reasons; affected buy-ins will be refunded in full.
9. Intellectual Property
The GPA name, logo, branding, and all original content on this site (text, images, layout, code) are owned by Grand Poker Arena and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or use them without our prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
Our site uses Google Analytics for measurement, Web3Forms for contact-form delivery, and is hosted on Amazon Web Services. We are not responsible for the terms or privacy practices of those third parties.
11. Disclaimers
The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Information about games, schedules, and tournaments is for general guidance and may change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GPA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify GPA against any loss, claim, or liability arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the site or services.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
